Source for custom solid wood bi-fold closet doors in San Diego
Hi,
I have two bedroom closets that were framed in an odd size (one is 81" by 58 5/8" and the other 81" x 59 1/4"). We'd like to replace the existing sliding doors with bi-fold wooden doors but they'll need to be custom. Can anyone suggest a source for custom wooden doors in San Diego? Already tried HD but were told that none of the styles we liked were available in custom sizes.

Find a real lumberyard. They can find what you need, but they won't be cheap. And that is not an odd size opening, it is normal for by-pass doors to have a smaller opening, so stock sized doors can be used. As you already know, the hard part is changing back to hinged or bifold doors.
