Door with Knob in the middle

Does anyone know who sells doors with knobs in the middle? Like the ones they have in England. I am willing to order from anyone in the US but I need to find someone first. If you are a Harry Potter fan, then you know the doors I am looking for.

Knob

Hey lamia,

Do you mean a knob on the side, exactly half way down? Or do you mean actally dead square in the middle of the door?

Any door will work. The knob in the center is only a knob and does not operate the latch. You need a small thumb turn or keyed cylinder to operate the latch from the exterior side.

Insulating Aluminum Frames

How can I cover or insulate the "aluminum frames" on double pane windows? The house is 1.5 years old and has aluminum frames that conduct cold and enable condensation. I hoping for an alternative to replacing all of the windows. Is there a plastic or wood coating that can be put on the frames; inside or outside that would provide some insulation?

I have an older house with several glass (non opening) windows. You can feel a draft on a few of them. Does anyone know if its possible (and effective) to re-seal them? Any info or advice would be great!
