Where to find small prehung double doors

We are replacing a 30" single door that opens from the Kitchen into a laundry room. Because of crowding issues in the laundry room I would like to replace the door with 2 - 15" double doors that open like a french door. But I can't find them any where. Is there a special name for this kind of door that is causing me not to find them?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You won't find them prehung, but at either the big orange box or big blue box you will probably find the door panels that will work inside you own installed casings. Not that big of a thing.

Also, measure your opening. If it is exactly 30" give or take 1/4", you may have to trim the hinge edge of the doors and remortise them prior to installation giving a little more space between the panels to allow for a "no hit" opening action.

I know you asked about doors that open like a french door, but 15" wide is well, kind of small. Have you considered putting in a pocket door ? If the door swing presents "crowding issues" then a pocket door would eliminate that issue completely.

Doors

Consider bi-fold doors. Can be mounted either on left side or right side.

You might consider pantry doors for cabinets, installed with the slides used for doors on television cabinets. Then the doors, only 3/4 think would slide back into the closet.
