My husband is in the army and we live in government housing so we cannot make any changes to the outside appearance of our quarters and I am clausterphobic and need some sort of storm door in front. Although they wont let us make any changes to the outside of the quarters we can make whatever changes we want to the inside as long as they are not too extreme. I looked into the retractable screen doors but i am afraid the first time my dogs see something outside they are gonna go right through it. Does anyone have any ideas on how I would mount some sort of storm door inside. I need someone more creative or experienced with this than I am obviously.

 

Your door probably opens to the inside of the house and therefore it is impossible to mount a storm door on the inside.

 

How much wall space is there on the latch side of the door? I am brainstorming. How wide is the door?
