Red face Fixing a Bifold Door

I have two bifold doors infront of my washer and dryer. The type that fold in half to open. One of them will not stay on the track and will not stay open. I found a long spring on the floor when I realized this was happening. I have tried to put it back on the track and all the things i could think of but nothing seems to be helping. Can someone let me know how to put it back together so that it works properly? Please and thank you!!

Wink

So I fixed it...the long spring came from inbetween the two doors that fits in a plastic thingy to keep the doors closed and I needed to hammer in the upper track that looked like it had been bent out of shape some how or another. So....hope this helps someone else at some point.

Yep.. those spring glides have a tendancy to get hooped..
Generally, they can be replaced easily enough..and once in place, the bifolds should run smoothly.
Adjustments are easily made at the bottom/floor pivot shoe and or in conjuncrtion with the top (adjustable) pivot bracket....
Sounds like you have it under control!!
