Sliding Interior Window Walls
I have 2 double sliding aluminum window walls (4 panels) between my living room and Florida room. The bottom track sits in the floor, not on it. I have loosened the roller screws at the bottom and still cannot get the doors off of the track. I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Help

It could very well be that the fixed panel needs to be removed first. Once you loosen the fixed panel and slide it away from the jamb, it usually lifts up and out. Then the sliding panel would come out in a similar manner, lifting up and out. "Out" meaning the bottom of the door lifts up and swings OUTSIDE, not inside, where the floor is too high.
Of course, it's entirely possible that someone laid tile or other finish floor on both sides of the patio door making it impossible to remove without removing the entire frame, along with the door panels.

All 4 panels slide...there are no fixed panels.
The livingroom floor is 6" higher than the florida room, so I believe they're only coming out in one direction, if ever. I saw an ad for a plastic track overlay and plastic door sliders and I wonder if that is going to be my only resolution.
