Locked-Out by an Antique door

We refinished our front door and while installing the "button stops" were pushed in such a way that the front door is now locked, inside and out.

How can I disable this feature and gain entry?

We have no keys for this lock.

Remove the pins in the hinges?

It's fixed. Thanks. My buddy used a paint scraper to "jimmy" the door open in a "reverse credit card" maneuver.

PVC Glass Fading

Three years after installation, the double-glazed PVC windows on the east side of my home are becoming translucent. I have no idea why (condensation?) or what to do about it (replace the glass?) I’d appreciate any advice, insight, answers, etc. Thanks.

Prehung door wider than opening

Hi guys, Just signed up for the forum because I can surely use the help. My wife and I bought all new prehung doors for the hallway. When I went to install the new door I noticed that it about a 1/2 inch wider than the opening. Apparently the previous owner used 3/8" sheetrock and now the opening is too small. I was thinking I should leave the hallway side flush with the wall so the trim looks good but how do I hide or fix the nearly 1/2" that will be in sticking inside the room?? thanks for your help! Kevin
