1 Pane Of Double Pane Broken Replace Both?

i JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH A REPAIR MAN AND HE SAID I HAVE TO REPLACE BOTH OR I WILL GET CONDENSATION BETWEEN THE PANES. IS THIS CORRECT?

NO NEED TO YELL...

Yes, both need to be replaced, can't even imagine trying to get the old one off and replace only one side of the insulated glass unit (IGU).

The repair guy will measure the old IGU, order or fabricate a new one and then replace it in your sash. Thats the way it's done.

LOL = I was just too lazy to take my cap locks off when I accidentally hit it. Thanks for the info - I just wanted to make sure I as not being duped.
