Window Manufacturer
Is there a way to determine what company manufactured the windows in my home? Do window builders put their name anywhere on the frame or elsewhere?
They are tilt-in thermal panes, made of vinyl. Two windows have lost the seal and are fogged up between the panes, and two others have broken tension springs. Looking to replace the bad parts, without replacing the whole window.

I work in the glass industry and could never figure out why window manufactures don't put their name on their product. Maybe it's because they are ashamed of the product they build.
If you can't find someone to fix it or get parts, try this web site.

If there is anything, there will be stickers on the edge of the sashes or on the edge or top of the frame. That should at least have the sizes, and or manufacture dates. Far too often, once they are sold, the manufacturer does not want to be connected with his product.
