Remove old triple track windows?

I have installed new vinyl replacement windows. Should I remove the old triple tracks. Why? Wouldn't the triple tracks add more R-Value?

I presume you mean triple track storms?

Heat can build up between the storms and the new windows which can cause issues. Warping and seal failure for instance.

If you want to keep them, they should be opened enuf in the hotter times to vent air, which kind of defeats the purpose of keeping them.

Yes, they can add a bit of efficiency (not R value, thats for insulation), but they can also trap moisture and cause problems with you new windows. May also void your warranty with the replacement window manufacturer.
