steel door binding in steel frame
hello
the steel door to my garage is in a steel frame, all set in a masonry wall. the door binds on the strike side as i close it. a piece of paper will not withdraw if it is between the jamb and hte door edge - it's that tight. i've tried a file on the vertical edge of the door, but it really doesnt help.
any ideas?

Hi bruce, hinges can sometimes wear out. Open the door part way and grab ahold of the door knob and lift and see if you feel any movement, loose or worn. Assuming the door worked at one time and being set in concrete we hope nothing has moved
, so about the only thing left are the hinges.
