How to Repair a Storm Door
Hi,
I have a front storm door to my house. It is an aluminum, or at least the surface of the door appears to be aluminum. I am not certain what the inside - it's a gray color, it looks like compressed cardboard.... I have some pictures at the link below.
Well... it kind of corroded, pitted and flaked apart. Is there any way to fix this other than buy a new door?
Here are some pictures:

Thanks!!

Nope..its new door time. Look closely at the door frame, edges of door and near the hinges. There may be a metallic sticker with a model or serial number on it. It may be covered under warranty. Some manufactures warranted certain doors for life against rot out like you have.

No, no way to fix it... and you probably won't have any luck getting the company that made it to replace it. You can look for a manufacturer's label, usually on the hinge side of the door. Might be a larson, but I'm not sure.
You can Bondo and paint the corner so that it looks better, but the problem is the result of water seeping in between the layers of laminate.
