Which entry door is better?
I realize that this is somewhat subjective, but opinions are appreciated as well.
I am putting in new steel maintenance free entry door system and have it narrowed down to a Pro Via door or Taylor door.
Does anyone have experience with either? I am looking for an unbiased opinion since the reps for both companies tell me they are the greastest.
Thanks!

I have heard of Taylor, but Pro Via is new to me. A semi-formal product evaluation is just what you're looking for. You can do this yourself. Obtain the product data sheet, and warranties, form both manufactures. Usually they can be downloaded off the manufacturer's website. Compare construction details, steel thickness (gage), metal coatings, core filler, and hardware. Then compare warranties and cost.
If both similar, except for metal gage, choose the heavier gage (20 over 22, 18 over 20).

Sorry, no such thing as a maintenance free door, especially not steel. They dent, and if scratched, will rust. And everything requires peridoc refinishing. I try to use only national name brands with a long track record. That way if there is a problem, there is a better that 50% chance of getting it corrected. With a local or small company, the chances that they will be around in 5 yrs is rare.

That maintenance free thing is probably refering to the jambs and trim. As in, "it won't rot, even if you don't paint it", it can still degrade though. Steel doors as stated need maintenance
Agree with Bill...as usual..get an established brand. Fiberglass will be less of a pain than almost any steel door.
