insect guard

I need to replace the strip on the interior of my screen that keeps the bugs out. Is there a correct name for this barrier?

Thanks

Your description is a little vague.

Are you talking about a storm door? And is it the sill expander weatherstrip at the bottom of the door where the door meets the threshold?

Or has your spline come out from the perimeter of your screen?

You may be talking about the "pile" a fuzzy strip that fits in a groove around the back of the screen frame and seals against the frame of a window or door to keep insects out. If my guess is right let us know or give us a better description.

You can get it at a local glass shop or some place that makes screens. Bring a sample since the width of the backing and the height of the pile is important. If it's a stationery screen you can use they type that has a self adhesive backing.
