I have a screw drive and when i press the button on the wall it just makes a buzzing sound. So i had disconnected the screw drive from the garage door then i press the button... and the screw drive worked perfectly fine it went to the main motor stopped then i pressed the button and it went back.. no problem. But when i re-connect the screw drive back to the door the buzzing sound re occurs but sometimes the buzzing sound is more violent. Also if i manually push it to the top and then push the screw drive back to the automatic switch, and then i press the button on the wall then the garage door goes down normally for a few seconds then falls down with speed. Does it mean that the screw drive is wearing out? or the do i need to change the whole operating system. Its from Genie and its probably really old.

I have a window where the moulding on the bottom under the sill is bowed out in the center. If you look at it from underneath, you can see both ends are attached to the wall, but the center forms an arch which at the peak is almost 1/4". How can this be repaired? And how did this happen? I am the second owner of the home which is about 10 years old. The first time I bothered to look there it was like that, so I can't say when this may have occurred.
