Interior door hitting the frame
I have an interior door that seems to have shifted in the frame ever so slightly. The result is that the very bottom of the door is hitting the frame on the hinge side when I close it. It does close, but very roughly. I also noticed that that bottom hinge is not completely flush on the door, and one of the 3 screws appeared to be stripped when I tried to tighten it. I'll post pictures tomorrow if this isn't clear, but I'm open for suggestions to fix this.

First try taking a large block of wood, put it against the bottom of the hinge side jamb and try and tap it over with a hammer. The block of wood will soften the blow so as not to mark the wood. Be gentle at first, but you can usually whack it pretty firmly. You wouldn't want to hit it so hard that you break the trim, though, so use your judgment. You should visibly see the jamb move in relation to the floor. See if you can tap it back at all. If it moves, it might be enough to solve the problem. If a door hits on the door stop or jamb as it closes, it can sometimes pull the screws out... especially if the jamb/door has a particle board core. You can replace the screws with longer ones that have the same sized thread.
