Can you touch up the paint on metal window frames?

I tried to clean old paint off my metal window frames using a product called grafitti remover. It said it could be used on metal. It did, but it also removed the metal finish. The windows were a bronze color. Can I touch them up or repaint them altogether. If so, what kind of paint should I use?

Try doing a search for CRL bronze touchup paint. It comes in a spray can. There is no guarantee it will match perfectly since colors are brand specific, but it's probably better than a smeary mess.

If you know the brand of window, you could also contact the manufacturer to see if they sell an exact match.

I've had to repaint the frames a few times on bronze colored windows. While the bronze paint you get may not be a perfect match, if you paint the entire frame [just the flat part next to the siding/brick] it shouldn't be off enough to be noticeable.
