Garage door opener cold weather doesn't work well
Whenever it's colder out I have to pull right up to the garage door before it will open with the remote. Sometimes it won't even do it then.
Works perfect in warmer weather (35 degrees+) . replacing batteries doesn't help. Any idea how to fix this or something I can buy to extend the range?

Sometimes the door seal will freeze to the slab or the wrong lubricant on the drive mechanism will gum it up. .

This is not a door issue. The range of the remote is severely effected by cold air for some reason. The door opens up fine, once I get close enough it's just whenever it's cold the range of the remote to the unit is terrible!
