Will the noise reduce if installiing drywall on a glassless window?

What I am trying to do is reduce noise people conversations outside my window. So what I would do is take the glass out from the window and put drywall, called quietrock, and glue it with green glue and screw it also.

Will that reduce at least some noise from outside?

"Some" is probably a good word to use. It will probably partially block "some" frequencies. Keep in mind that any glue you use will be impossible for the next person to remove. I hope you're not in a rental.

Why are you removing the glass? What are putting on the outside of the window?

Instead of making permanent changes to your domicile, take a sheet of plywood and attach some sound proofing material like mass-loaded vinyl (MLV) which is very dense and screw it into the opening. But as XSleeper said, it will be very difficult to get all of the frequencies out.

I am trying to reduce only human vioice so other frequencies do not matter. I typed "mass-loaded vinyl" on homedepot and lowes website and did not find any results. What am I doing wrong?

Curious. Why all this sealing out of sound? You did the door, now the window. I don't think the modifications you are making will add to the house features at all. Windows are necessary to allow light in as well as to perform as safety egress means. So sealing the windows and doors, you will have a cocoon with no way to escape. And I understand this is in an attic as well, right?

I would think a heavy drape would be just as effective and you can still open it and get light or look out when the noise isn't present.

You won't find it there. Here is a starting point.

A good quality triple paned window would do the same thing and not look as bad.
