Good screw for nailing fin on vinyl construction windows

Hi,
I'm installing new construction windows this week (weather permitting) and would like to use screws for the installation. The windows are vinyl with a nailing fin. The manufacturer said screws or nails were acceptable for warranty coverage.

Anyone have a good brand/style of screw they would recommend for this?

Thanks!

You could use 1 1/2" or so decking or coated screws with torx heads. Less run out on your tool and they will hold fine. Don't over drive them. Decking or coated screws because they won't rust.

I prefer my deck screws with square drive but Chandler does drive more of them than I do

No, I get tired of hearing the rounded off square or phillips drive bit in the rounded off screw head. I have one helper who couldn't drive anything but torx . Can't get him to wear his reading glasses so I really don't think he can see. So with the advent of the impact driver, that sound is innocuous to me now as it all sounds the same. I've learned to live with it.

I must be the only person left on the planet that prefers roofing nails for this.

Faster and cheaper but probably mostly because I like hitting stuff with a hammer.
