Sears Best Storm Door.....

I have a Sears Best Storm Door (model 948.65133271). I'm looking for the retainer strips for the glass (they have to be removed to switch from glass to screen). Does anyone know where I can find them?

Hopper Vinyl window into exhising frame

Hello, Have new vinyl basement hopper which will be installed through existing steel frame then into concrete, (I dont think there is wood frame behind steel because I can see the steel frame embedded into concrete from inside). Can I use Tapcon screw into thin steel, then into concrete or is there better way? Thanks!!

aluminum screen wire on vinyl frames

We had new vinyl windows installed a few years ago and we chose the fiberglass screens. Now there are large holes in the screens where grasshoppers have eaten the fiberglass. I talked to a guy about putting aluminum screening in the frames and he said that I wouldn't like it because the wire can't be pulled tight and will have a wavy, loose appearance. Is there a technique to installing the aluminum in the vinyl frame that would make the screen wire look better than what he described or maybe another screening material that grasshoppers and crickets can't devour ?
