Rough Opening/ Door Size
Hello-
I have a door way I wanted to put a door in.
The opening is 80” tall by 28 1/4” wide. Can you tell me what size door I would need?

Welcome to the forums! A standard height door will not fit in that opening as it should be at least 81 1/2" in height. You can install a 2'2" or 26" door in that opening, but doubtful you will find it off the rack. Why was the opening made in such a fashion?

Are your measurements the rough opening (no jamb) or a finished opening - as in an existing trimmed out doorway without a door? 80"X28 1/4" sounds like a standard finished opening for a 28" slab.
