Bay Window Leaking from the top

I have a slow leak (drips) coming from the top(metal) portion of my bay window. It only happens in heavy rain. I have caulked the window profusely twice, and still I have a leak. I noticed that the flashing above it only extends out about an inch from the window. What do you think is the problem? Thanks.

Hard telling without any pictures of the outside and a better description of exactly where the leak is. Pictures can be uploaded to any site like picasa or photobucket and then the link can be pasted here.

A pic would help, but if it has leaked since it was installed, I would guess a poor or incorrect flashing job. Correcting it could be simple or major.
