Pella plastic screen corners
Screens were installed in our Az. home in '88, so many of the plastic screen corners are deteriorating. How difficult is it to replace the corners?
Also, if we decide to replace the screens, are the "Vivid View" screens worth the cost?
Thanks.

They are available from window parts suppliers, here is one: 95-181 Pella Screen Corner : SWISCO.com

To add to what was said....you'll have to completely disassemble the screens to replace the corners. That will mean re-screening as well. We have a shop around here that would do the whole job for about $15 a screen. Much cheaper than you buying everything you need most likely.

Unfortunately, I'm looking at 50+ screens and the home is in Sedona. I've noticed a "Sedona Tax" that contractors and shops feel justified charging, so I doubt I'd get a screen done for $15.
Is it really the case that re-screening is required when you change the corners>
BTW, I like your avatar. I don't own a full auto, but I'm still quick on the trigger of my M4A3.
