Looking at Infinity windows by Marvin

Might get the above mentioned windows (replacement) installed later this year. Am happy enough with what I have read about the dealer on angies' list. Wondering if anyone has any comments on the product, and wondering how this workmanship warranty sounds:
"10 yrs, all subcontracted work is 1 year unless otherwise specified". We are worried about who they use as a subcontractor that they only stand behind the work a year. Should I tell them "no subs" or what??

First......Marvin makes a high quality product, and I have never had an issue with their warranty.

Not sure how things work in WI, but here, the contractor and the manufacturer often do not have a relationship. We are independant contractors, and purchase products depending on the clients request. Sometimes, you will get a manufacturer backed contractor.

I doubt you'll get any labor warranty longer than the 1 yr. That's pretty much standard with any type of product - the labor warranty will be shorter than the product warranty.
