Water between the panes of my new steel door.

When I bought my new steel door it was raining. By the time I got home, although it was supposed to be sealed, my glass panel was 1/2 full of water.
I found that the best way to remove the glass without breaking anything was to remove all the inside trim screws then using a heat gun on a hacksaw blade, heat the blade and insert it into the trim between the door slide it around the trim cutting though the glue. The blade should slide right through the glue without cutting. I used a hacksaw because that's all I had available at the time. The glass panel should fall right out. I then drilled several holes through the metal/caulking that holds the panes together. set it in the sunshine and let the sunlight push the water out of the panels. Re-caulk and reinstall.
