Jeld-wen double door inward opening - has lost weatherstrip under astragal

I have not been happy with the quality of the this door selected by our builder, nor the installation. It is only three years old. This exterior double french door has an astragal with a molded piece of plastic or rubber under its base which is torn.

Since the weatherstrip piece is molded to the same shape as the astragal, does the entire astragal need to be replaced? If not, where do I turn for replacement? The manufacturer? Again, this is not the typical generic replacement molding.

Thoughts?

Welcome to the forums

Some of the pros here may know this off the top of their head but just in case, can you post a couple pictures?

You'll have to make sure what part you need by removing and comparing it to anything you find online, but here are a couple parts for starters:

Astragal Boot, Bottom of double door, Left Hand - Black All About Doors and Windows, Parts and Hardware

Promax - Jeld-Wen - door - door replacement - door parts - door repair - promax

Not sure which you might have. You'd probably have to remove the hinge pins, and turn the door on it's side to have a good look.
