Jeldwen solid molded core doors

Is there any validity to the claim that Jeldwen uses different materials for thier solid core molded doors for Home Depot compared to a lumber yard. This information came from an actual employee of jeldwen. Not sure they were supposed to give me that information but would like to verify. Instead of using solid wood in the rails and styles MDF is used.

While I've painted thousands of doors, I only have a passing knowledge as to their construction.
I've painted many similar looking doors that were constructed differently. The cheaper door would have MDF or similar for the styles/rails while the better doors would use solid wood. Some use finger jointed wood. They all paint the same. Not sure if there is much difference in how well they last.

Depends on the style. JW shows that right on their website. Look at the "construction" tab under Product Details at the lower right.
