door size

I measured the width of my existing door panel and got 27-3/4", it is a 28" wide door or 30" wide door?

or

what's the actual door opening width for a 28" wide door? I need to know if the opening is wide enough for a table which is 26" wide.

thats a 2-4 or 28" door. The rough opening (which is the stud to stud measurement) is +2, or 30". a 28" door will have door stop on the jamb which reduces the size that something will fit through by about 3/4". If you take the door off its hinges, or can swing it completely open 180 you could probably get a 26" table to fit.
