Accordian Door for Closet

I have a closet with a 22" finished door opening. Since it is on a wall 90 degrees to an entry door (where one can open into and bang the other), I believe I want to use an accordian door or a bi-fold door.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that I can trim 2" off of the bi-fold standard 24" door (stiles not wide enough). And, a quote for a custom made 22" pine louvered bi-fold is over $500.

So, an accordian may be the only answer. My question, can I place a 24" accordian door in this 22" opening? Or am I faced with another custom build situation?

Or just reframe the opening so any standard door will work.

An accordion door only closes as far as the opening allows so yes it will work. Why did you think there would be a problem?

I am just foolish, I guess. Plus, too many times in my life I've measured just once and cut - only to be wrong.
