Replacing Patio Door with French Door - RO 71 1/4" Too Small?

My current door is roughly 70" wide and my RO is 71 1/4". My house is stucco on the outside and wood studs on the inside. The unit prehung calls for 71 1/4" opening and the RO is 1" wider for shimming and such.

Would I still be okay or have to go customer (hopefully not).

We just had a thread on that & it was recommended not to do the job at all.

Which is it? 71 1/4" or 72 1/4"?

If the unit prehung 'calls for a 71 1/4" opening', wouldn't the RO be 71 1/4"?

if the RO can not be enlarged to meet the requirements of the standard sized prehung
2 options
Do not use prehung. This option would require wood doors that would be trimmed to fit

Enlarge the RO. This can be archived by cutting the trimmers, however it most likely will require waterproofing and stucco repair.
