need locks for windows
i need to find some lock assemblies for some old aluminum windows at a building. they are basically storm windows that use a spring and a pin to lock into the channel they ride in. here is a picture of the windows.
can anyone tell me what i need?

Are you looking to keep people out, or kids in?
For horizontal slide windows, on the cheap, a stick or dowel would work.
Alternatively, they make a couple different window locks depending on the requirements.
I've seen some in rental units that screw into the frame, preventing the window from opening beyond a set distance (couple inches). I'm sure there are others that do the same function as the stick, but are lock and key and hold a lot tighter.

best place I've found
When I do repairs on older windows that I can't talk them into replacing I usually look in Blaine Hardware's catalog. They have lots of parts and pieces for old windows. And no I'm not affiliated with them in any way.
