need help with exterior door

hi, new homeowner here. I'd like to fix this door i have in the basement, its installed very poorly and leaks a lot of cold air. problem is i don't know where to start. i initially thought of just re-framing it but realized the outside is brick and doesn't give me any room. any help would be appreciated, also the last thing i want to do is buy a new, smaller door. but if i have to i will.

Installing locksets will stop a lot of cold air Aside from that are the crushable seals around the perimeter in good shape? You may could remove the interior trim molding and see if anyone installed any insulation between the framing and the door casing. Leaving that void without insulation will let a lot of air pass. How are the seals on the bottom of the door? Does your threshold adjust any?

The threshold also should have been set in a bed of silicone.
