Sliding door replacement

Can I replace a sliding door without changing the frame? I have some old ones from the 80's that have had their gas inside (between the panes) leak and now there are stains that I can't get rid of. It's not enough of an issue for me to want to spend the $1k+ to fix it, but if the doors can be swapped out easily, I might do that. I haven't seen anything like this online and so I'm guessing there is a reason why this can't be done.

Any idea if this is possible?

The IGU can be replaced without changing the sliding panels at all.

Thank you very much. You made my life a lot easier with that - I used Angieslist and found a few companies I'll get quotes from.
