Patio door installation

I plan on installing a sliding patio door. New construction. Exterior wall is stucco. Interior wall is drywall. Would like some installation instructions, especially proper flashing requirements. I plan on using a Milgard 60" width 80" high door.

I suggest you, to use aluminum frame sliding doors, instead of any other metal frame. It is a light weight metal and also supports and maintain balance between the doors.

Welcome to the forums! Metal windows and doors actually have no advantage over wooden or vinyl units. They transmit heat and cold more than other materials. What "other" metal is there to use?
