139" Room Divider Needed- Tension Rod?

I just moved into an apartment that once was the parlor floor of a Brooklyn brownstone. It is big and beautiful with 13' ceilings, but the downside is that it has no closets (Think loft space with Victorian details). As such, I wanted to partition off part of a room with a curtain that would serve as a closet. The span is 11'5" (139"). Ideally, I would like to do this without putting screws into the wall. Hanging anything from the ceiling is not allowed.

Is anyone aware of any kind of curtain rod that would work for this kind of span? I've tried to find a tension rod but the longest I can find is 120". I was thinking that a rod that could be expanded by turning a threaded joint in the middle that would work, but I haven't been able to find anything like this either.

Any suggestions? If I can't come up with anything better, I'll just use a standard closet rod hanging setup, but I'd really rather have a solution that won't require met to stand on an extension ladder and patch holes when I move out.

There are 12' curtain rods available but you have have to mount 3 brackets on the wall. You don't have to mount them higher than 7 or 8 feet high, to divide the room. There is no reason to go to the ceiling. Portable closets are another option.

And at 12', I would be concerned with sag over the length. How will you support the middle?
