Replacement Sash - Squirrel Damage
Hey Guys,
A squirrel was trapped in my fathers house and tried to eat his way our of a couple windows while he was away on vacation. Seems I need to replace the sashs on two windows which are beyond repair.
The current windows are standard 1960s single pane double hung units, no weights/pulley.
Is there a simple sash replacement kit that can be installed, or am I looking at an entire replacement window. I'd love to just pull the sash and install a new sash liner and be done with it.
All input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bryan

Yes, but they usually come in fairly standard heights/widths so using them is a bit dependent on the size of your existing window. A lumberyard or box store would be able to help you out.
A vinyl replacement window is always an option. There are wood replacements as well.
