Please help identify this window tilt latch
Hi, thanks for reading my question and sorry for my poor English. I need to replace the window tilt latch in my apartment (the landlord couldn't be less helpful as I already told him 3 times...) since I thought it should'nt cost much to DIY.
However after some research I am a little confused about how to even remove this latch. As you can possibly see from the images there are no screws holding it in place, it is neither the "mortise" type since the edge of the frame is not open (as in the 3rd image), so there is no slot or groove. The frame is also tightly sealed so I don't think I need to (or even can) disassemble the frame to remove it. I started to think this is a type of "built-in" latch and is generally not user-serviceable. But I still would like to hear opinions from people who may have had experiences dealing with such type of latches. By the way, there used to be a small plastic bar on top of the latch to open it, which was broken off long time ago as the plastic is really old and fragile).
In worst case I think I may have to just remove it by force and drill holes then install the screw-type generic latches on this window, though clearly I want to reserve this as the last attempt...
Thanks in advance.

Looks like this one.
One Pair of White Window Sash Tilt Latches 2878WHITE - Household Door Accessories - Amazon.com
Just tap them gently with a screwdriver, they slide out of a mortise in the sash.

Thanks guys, after I observed the model on amazon and google images I learned the basic mechanism holding that latches in place so I removed them using screwdrivers (though one of them was really a pain in the axxxs to remove). I will order them online. Thanks so much for your suggestions
