Storm door mail slot

I have a storm door/screen door that is in good working order and condition, however the mail slot door has broken and I am looking at how it can be replaced. Is there a web site where they can be purchased or any other idea on how it can be covered up? I do not want to get a new door since its otherwise ok and it is an odd size door.

Welcome to the forums! Most box stores and places like Amazon carry mail slots. You may can just remove the one you have and replace it. Google "mail slot".

Sliding Door Screw Just Covering Hole?

Hello, I need to square up a panel on a very old, heavy, metal sliding glass door. I understand that there should be a screw at the bottom of each side holding the panel in place, with a small hole underneath for inserting a screwdriver to adjust wheel height. On this door, that lower hole has a screw in it on both sides. Is this just covering the hole to keep dirt out, or do older doors have a different system altogether? Replacing wood on exterior under window

Recently discovered some fungus growing on a piece of wood underneath a window on the exterior of the house. I wanted to remove the wood and replace it with a new treated piece and repaint it.
