Where to buy primer for flashing tape

I've been replacing my windows over the summer with new construction windows and learned the hard way that the Protecto Wrap flashing tape I used doesn't stick to the osb on my house enough to keep water out . Had I read the instructions first, I'd would have known to do a test first, but I didn't. Now my windows are taped with tape that leaks water and that I can pull right off the osb

I've checked all the box stores and can not seem to find ANY flashing tape primer, even though I've learned that the instructions on most flashing tapes say it will be necessary if it doesn't adhere without it.

I can't seem to find any anywhere - except for an ebay listing for $200 worth, which is a lot more than I want or need. Is there an alternative product that will work? Is there something I'm missing?

A lot of flashing tapes are compatible with 3M 77 spray adhesive. Don't know about Protecto in particular, but you could try it. Most home centers carry 77.
