Velux WLC 160

I just replaced my old burned out WLC 100 with a WLC 160. The skylights open just as they did in the past, but when I tried to close them, the motor operated for about 1 second and stopped. The only way I could get the skylights closed was to unplug the controller, wait a few seconds, plug it back in and press the down button again. I had to do this about 100 times because the motors would only operate for 1 second each time, moving the skylights a fraction of an inch each time. Can anyone help me?

Welcome to the forums.

Not sure of the differences between the WLC-100 and the 160 but see if this thread is of any help.
