Replacing wired glass skylights?
I have two small skylights above a stairwell that are leaking. The glass in both is cracked but I'm guessing the water gets in from around the outside of the skylight.
Should I replace with wired glass again or can I replace with laminated or plexiglass?
What's the recommended here, I've heard that wired glass is more likely to crack because the wire heats up in direct sun, is that the case?

Wired glass is often required by building and fire codes. The purpose of the wire is to prevent the glass from exploding during fires. You need to check your LOCAL codes to see if it is required in your specific installation.
