Replacing Basement with Vinyl Windows in Stone and Mortar Foundation

Just recently purchased a new building. I have two windows to replace in the basement. I already have the correct size vinyl windows to put in, but a little unsure about the process. If it were a concrete foundation I could simply screw the windows into place, but I am dealing with Field Stone and Mortar. Anyone have any ideas on how to secure the new windows into the foundation?

Short answer. You must build a wood frame and mortar that into the fieldstone foundation. If you hadn't already bought the windows I would've suggested glass block.
