Cannot remove deadbolt
Hi, I've replaced many locks in my day but never came across one like this.
This is a single key deadbolt and I cannot remove the outer half of the cylinder. There are no manufacturing stamp - but its a brass cylinder and cover. Please see the attached images.
From teh inside photo the 2 horizontal holes held teh interior thumb lever
You can see there are 3 holes that have screws from teh cylinder to that bracket. The outer trim ring can spin but no way to remove or expose the screw heads.
Can you have a look and help if possible. Thanks!

Its probably glued on by the paint. Tap it with a hammer. Or you are saying the outside ring spins but never unscrew?

Thanks for the reply. The outer trim ring spins freely around the cylinder and I've spun it every way to try and unscrew it. It desnt seem attached to the cylineer but rather the cylinder seems to hold in in place. That trim ring is heavy brass.

If you insert the key, can you use it to turn the cylinder while holding the ring stationary? Or maybe that ring snaps on? Can you slip a putty knife under it?

I dont have the key. I can trun the cylinder - bolt latch with the inside lever part of the lock but moving teh bolt latch around does not have an effect on the trim ring. Again the trim ring is heavy brass and its ring is smaller than the cylinder - so teh cyliners is keeping it from being removed, and the trim plate spins freely and not attached to the cylinder
