What tool should I use to cut exterior window sill.
I need to make a cut to the wood exterior window sill that I have freshly installed and I was wondering what tool I should use? I have my hand in the picture to give you a rough idea of size. I just need to take off about a quarter inch off the end. In advance thank you for your help.

You can't remove it and cut it on a miter saw? If not use an oscillating tool like Fein multimaster and a sharp blade. Those sorts of things should be cut to the right length before they are installed.

Agree with XSleeper on the oscillating multi tool. They are a really handy tool to have....lots of uses. If you don't want to spend a lot of $ for one you can get one at Harbor Freight for about $15. Do this cut with a plunge blade. Blades aren't inexpensive....HF blades are junk. Bosch blades will fit the HF tool and are among the best blades on the market.
