caulk around shower window is not drying!

My husband re-caulked around the window ledge of our bathroom window that's inside of our shower almost a week ago (we have a non see-through glass block window), and it's still wet! Because it's so cold outside there is always condensation on the window and this is probably keeping it from drying. If you have any tips to help, please let me know!

If it was a latex caulk I could understand the constant moisture may be an issue. You may need to avoid using for a few days, get a fan in there to dry out and then a few days to let it set up. I've used Silicon in the past but tend to use the bathroom latex type caulks currently.

In addition, you could also use OSI Quad sealant as it will have a quick set up time, will flex, but maintain a good water tight seal. During an OSI demonstration, they even laid a bead in a corner of a pan filled with water, so it is pretty good stuff. Ventilate well as it is really meant for exterior use. Clean up will be with MEK or Mineral spirits.
