2' X 4' Plastic/Acrylic Porch Skylight Dome Replacement Help, Where To Purchase

Hi All,
Just bought our dream home in Boynton Beach Florida and need to replace the six original skylight domes that are installed on our screened in porch. They are brittle and break easily causing a big mess when it rains. This is "Mommas" favorite room so on top of all my other current projects I want to get this finished ASAP. There is no flashing as they were simply placed over the aluminum insulated porch roof and tarred/masted down along their flat bead. My plan is to cut them off at that bead and place new ones right on top of the old ones. My problem is finding them cheap. Best I've managed to find are over $100 each X six OUCH!. Anyone know who stocks these things?

$100 is dirt cheap and there's a reason why as you've already seen.
Just cutting around it and installing over the old flange is just a really bad idea, sounds like a sure way to have another leak.
When I'm looking at a home to buy and I see one of those bubbles first thing I do is figure out what it will cost to remove and replace with a real sky light and deduct it from the asking price.

Those skylights look very similar to ones that are installed on Mobile homes. Maybe Google "mobile home skylights" for more options.
