Window centering
Having an octagon window installed and trying to decide what would look better--centering it with the wall or centering it between the trim board and the inside corner (wall is 3'-6" wide with outside corner on left with 4" trim board and inside corner on right with no trim. I'm leaning towards the latter because even though the window wouldn't be centered with the wall, or would give the illusion that it is because of the trim board. And I believe the opposite would be true (would look off center if centered on wall)

Yes, it works on the inside as well because the side with the trim board is an outside corner and there is a stud wall there, which means it will be centered from the inside as well
Now just need to figure out how high to mount it.
