Velux VCE Skylight and Blind Limit Setting
My Velux VCE skylight started acting strange - the motor was fine and the skylight would open and close, although when it closed it would close then pop up to 10% and report an obstruction. Here is how you fix the problem:
(1) Press the Up Button on the remote to start opening the skylight, and while the skylight is still traveling up, flip the power switch off at the breaker box before the skylight gets all of the way to the top.
(2) Leave the power off for about 1 minute.
(3) After 1 minute, flip the power back on (hit exit on the remote to clear off the error message that says “No Contact” and then WITHIN 30 SECONDS of turning the power back on, hit stop/up (stop/open) on the remote.
(4) The skylight should come down first and then go all of the way back up to the top.
(5) Try closing the skylight after it stops moving and it should stay all of the way closed at the bottom (at the zero point of closure).
Same procedure for the electric blinds.
Hope this help!
