help with squeaky weird hinge

has anyone seen a hinge like this? i can't find it anywhere. it is squeaking horribly and i have no idea how to lube it. help?

It's called a spring hinge... likely a 4x4 spring hinge. Buy WD40 PFTE dry lube and saturate it. If it doesn't help, it could be worn out and in need of replacement.

I have one of those hinges at my office. The spritz with WD-40 makes it quiet for about a year. Then I just give it another squirt and it's quiet for another year.

Those spring hinges are used where you want the door to stay open or closed. With a Allen wrench in the top and inserting the pin in the side you can adjust the spring tension and direction of the spring action.
